Deka Hut Booking Policy
Introduction
Deka Hut Booking Policy sets out the terms and conditions which apply when you reserve a bed or room at Alpine Hut Deka. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, so please check them before making a reservation. The terms and conditions in effect at the time of your reservation will apply to your booking.
Reservations
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. Guests under 18 are not permitted to stay unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Dogs are welcome, but you must book an entire room if bringing your pet. Reservations require a credit or debit card for security, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash for in-person bookings.

Group Reservations
If you’re booking an entire room or making a reservation for 4 or more people, please contact us directly at alpinehutdeka@gmail.com. Prices online reflect individual bookings in shared rooms. Group rates may differ, so reach out to us for more details.
Overnight Prices
Prices are per bed, per night, and include dinner, breakfast, free wifi, and hot showers (solar-powered, subject to availability). We’ll try our best to accommodate any special requests, but room and bed allocation depends on availability.
Sleeping bag liners are not included, but you can rent them at reception if needed.
Meals
Breakfast and dinner set menus are included with your overnight stay. Our bar-restaurant also serves lunch, drinks, and additional à la carte items, which you can purchase separately.
Paying for Your Stay
If your stay and any extras have not been paid in full at the time of booking, you’ll need to pay on arrival. We accept cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Electron), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Cancellation
For cancellations made 28 days or more before your booking, we will fully refund your payment, excluding international charges, bank or exchange fees.
Cancellations made within 28 days of your booking, we will try to offer alternative dates. If you choose to cancel, we will refund 50% of your payment.
We may apply a cancellation charge to group bookings if a cancellation or “no show” occurs from your group.
Our Right to Cancel
Your breach
We may cancel your reservation with immediate effect if:
- You do not make required payments.
- You breach the contract in any way. If we cancel due to your breach, the total payment made or owed will be considered a cancellation charge and not refunded.
Events Outside Our Control
If events beyond our control (such as health and safety issues, government and civil action, natural disasters, power outages, or emergency evacuations) prevent us from fulfilling your booking, we will let you know as soon as possible. We will refund your payment if you’ve already paid. If not, no payment will be required. We are not responsible for any failure or additional costs caused by such events.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is from 2 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. During busy periods, you may experience a short wait at check-in. If you expect to arrive after dark, please let us know in advance.
You’ll be required to provide proof of identity at check-in (passport, driving license, or national ID). If you check out after 10 am, we may charge you for an additional night.
Deka House Rules
Electricity is turned off between midnight and 05:00. Please tidy your room, take all waste and strip your bed before leaving. Only wear hut slippers indoors.
To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, you must not:
- Cook or prepare food and drink on-site.
- Wear outdoor shoes inside the hut.
- Leave any garbage or waste. Please take it with you.
- Be abusive to staff or other guests.
- Smoke indoors (including e-cigarettes; smoking areas are provided).
- Cause any health and safety risks or bring hazardous materials.
- Use appliances that could set off fire alarms.
- Tamper with emergency equipment.
- Damage Deka property or cause unreasonable disturbance to guests or staff.
If you or your group cause damage or breach these rules, we reserve the right to:
- Cancel your reservation and remove you from the hut.
- Retain all sums paid and/or charge the full reservation amount.
- Refuse future reservations.
General
We reserve the right to:
- Reallocate your bed or room during your stay for any reason.
- Cancel bookings due to health and safety concerns or full/partial closure of the hut. In this case, we will notify you and provide a refund.
