Your mountain base

It’s your base for exploring the glacier, ice climbing, or summiting Mount Kazbek (5054m) and Mount Ortsveri (4365m). Named after the wild Alpine  Rose, deka flowers surround the hut and mountain sides in summer.

The hut is run by the local mountain guides at Climbing Georgia, who offer mountaineering, ski touring, and catskiing trips across Georgia.

Travelling light? You can rent climbing gear at the hut, or arrange for horseback porters to bring your bags up from Sameba Trinity Church (2170m).
